Crafts...Soil Association
The article 'Soil Association' in the new Crafts magazine discusses Atelier NL's new project 'Drawn From Clay - Noordoostpolder'. Atelier NL is made up of Nadine Sterk and Lonny van Rijswijck, based in the Netherlands. On a visit to South America they were inspired by local craftsmen using the soil from their surroundings to make vases. They decided to explore the qualities of clays taken from different parts of Holland.
