Cornish Knitting Patterns

Below are some knitting patterns from a really interesting book on Cornish Guernseys and Knit Frocks.

Ropes, chains, waves, nets and sand-prints provided inspiration for the stitch patterns.

I am thinking about using a map of Cornwall to mark the locations of different patterns on.

Are there any local Falmouth ones? Could anyone teach me any more patterns perhaps?

Would museums be interested/ be interesting for me to visit?

Above are examples of knitting sticks from St Ives, known locally as 'knitting fish'.
