This program discussed how Cornwall has changed in a generation. Explain that mining and farming are 'dying' industries; tourism and surfing are the future of Cornwall. The program concludes that luxury tourism is where money can be made.


The Museum of Curiosity. 2009. BBC Radio 4. Monday 25th May.

An imaginary museum to which guests on the panel show are invited to donate 'fascinating' exhibits.

The Museum of Curiosity website explains that...

"this isn’t a place for desiccated medieval shoes or rows of moth-eaten stuffed squirrels. We don’t care whether something is old or rare or priceless or “important” or not … as long as it makes you rub your eyes, scratch your head or stroke your chin."
