Inside Out

"The first international Rapid Prototyping conference was hosted by De Montfort University in 2005. This new event aims to bring together practitioners and academics, to develop a new vision for these technologies and their future role in craft, design and the fine arts and to examine the changing cultural and creative roles they imply.

Inside Out is a major event consisting of a 2-day international symposium and workshop on 23rd and 24th March 2009. The conference fully integrates theory and practice, combining workshop sessions with academic papers including 2 keynotes. In addition it includes a call for the Inside Out virtual exchange exhibition, together with a limited preview, it will provide opportunities for rich interaction and discourse between partcipants."

The key note speakers are Paul Brown and Keith Brown. Autonomatic would be there, as well as other interesting people including Micheal Eden.

This sounds like it would be useful and inspiring and I would like to go, but it is £300. I need to have a think...
